BIG MACHINE is a unique production company with both award-winning content producers and an award-winning in-house visual effects team allowing us to produce content across all platforms like no one else can.

 

We've produced many hours of content for clients from Discovery and AMC to Nattional Geographic and Tru TV.  Last year we won our first Emmy for our show FUTURE CATS on National Geographic.

We have a number of fresh, new projects ready to pitch on scripted, non-scripted, short form, digital and VR platforms. Our ability to integrate visual effects easily into our live-action work continues to make our work stand apart.  We're passionate about producing content in the crime, historic, action and children genre's.

STEVE PETERSEN

PARTNER

Steve is originally from Miami, FL. He has worked as a director, editor, producer and designer. Aside from his ongoing work in the commercial industry, he has directed many hours of long-form content for Current, Discovery and the National Geographic Channel. And he is currently developing and producing several scripted feature film projects.

SEAN OWOLO

PARTNER

Sean is originally from Connecticut. He is a veteran entertainment executive having spent 10 years in the music industry, before spending the last 4 years in the visual design industry. Sean is an all around great guy, but don’t try calling him at 5am.  He’ll be at the beach on his long board.

KEN CARLSON

PARTNER

Ken is a graduate of the University of Florida. He has worked as a senior supervising show producer, photojournalist, and designer.  Ken has directed short form projects for Ubisoft, NFL Network, AMC and Bravo. Ken also owns a dance studio with his wife in Encino, CA.
